Her first play M, developed through the Tennessee Playwrights Studio fellowship program in 2022, examines what it is to document a queer woman’s life and longings, on the page and on the screen. Sarah trained as an actor at Stella Adler School of Acting and Dell’Arte International, and earned her Masters in Theatre from Villanova University. A graduate of Point Park University’s Conservatory of Performing Arts, he played the character Sam in the short film titled Sugar (directed by Evan Galiffa) for which he earned the award of Best Actor in a US Short at the Jim Thorpe Film Festival (2022) and Best Actor in a US Drama in the HangOntoYourShorts film Festival (2022). He also recently performed as Trevor in The Play That Goes Wrong with 1812 Productions last December. Acting credits include productions at Folger Theatre (DC), PA Shakespeare Festival, People’s Light, Philadelphia Artists’ Collective, InterAct Theatre, and Hedgerow Theatre. Their fight/intimacy work has been seen in numerous productions, including with PA Shakespeare Festival, The Wilma, People’s Light, Playwrights Horizons (NYC), Philadelphia Artists’ Collective, The Arden, Quintessence, Theatre Exile, Azuka, UArts, Temple, and Muhlenberg College. They’ve studied stage combat for over a decade and are a recognized Advanced Actor Combatant with 5 international stage combat organizations, as well as a teaching apprentice with Fight Directors Canada and assistant to Broadway Fight Masters Ian Rose and J.
