Andrew Beal (he/him)
Selected work: The Launch, or What is Znord

Andrew Beal is a Philadelphia based playwright, theatre artist, and cat dad. Originally from North Carolina, he graduated from UNCG with a BA in Drama, and is currently a sketch writer for Florida Studio Theatre’s MainStage Sketch Group. He uses humor, style, and theatre magic to create engaging works that speak to our moment and our futures. He’s tired of theatre that holds a mirror up to society, and instead aims to create a theatre that acts as a crystal ball.

Xavier Clark (he/him)
Selected work: supper

Xavier is a multidisciplinary theatre artist, born and raised in Turkey. As a playwright, he has developed work with The National Black Theatre, Fault Line Theatre, Playwrights' Arena, and Echo Theatre Company of Los Angeles. His play supper was a finalist for the 2022 O'Neill NPC. His play backstroke boys was selected as a finalist for The 2021 Blue Ink Playwriting Award, The New Harmony Project's 2020 Spring Conference, and will be presented as a Workshop Production with Fault Line Theatre in Fall 2023 in NYC. He is a member of IAMA Theatre's 2022-23 Emerging Playwrights Lab, The Strides Collective's 2023 Emerging Playwrights Program and an alum of The Gatekeeper's Collective's inaugural "learning to love" playwriting fellowship, led by Donja R. Love. He earned his B.F.A. in Drama from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where he is currently on faculty, and his M.F.A. in Acting from UC San Diego.

Dom Martello (they/them)
Selected Work: But I’ll Die Trying

Dom Martello is a playwright, actor, dramaturg, and artistic consultant based in NYC. Currently, they work full-time in public engagement and education. Their writing centers on trans and queer experiences, exploring the complexity of inter-community dynamics through genre and structure. They wish to help build a world where theater isn’t viewed as a luxury but rather as a civic utility that has the power to bring about a better future.

Sarah Stryker (she/they)
Selected Work: Making It

Sarah Stryker, like many actors, wanted to play every character, so she became a playwright. Her play Against the Wind was a regional finalist at the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival ’22. Sarah trained as an actor at Stella Adler School of Acting and Dell’Arte International, and earned her Masters in Theatre from Villanova University. She is currently a Fellow at Hedgerow Theatre where she performs, directs, designs, builds, paints, and most importantly writes.
